Science

He is a curious little one. Every day my 3 year old is asking a lot of questions about how things work and what happens when...

So...

We did our first science experiment the other day after he asked questions about ice. (So much for all this bad weather we have been having).
He wanted to know what happens to ice if you put it in water.

I tried explaining what would happen if the water was cold and if it was hot. Of course mister curious wanted to see what would happen so out came the ice cubes, in went the cold water. They lasted a really long time (even after he drank the water). Next came the ice cubes, in went the hot water. Oh no, where did the ice cubes go? He kept asking to do it again. lol

I do not have a scientific mind at all so I am starting to fear some of his questions. What if I can not answer them? He is much to young for me to say "Go look it up". I guess I should have paid a bit more attention in science class in school.

Kristin, I would love it if you would email me the directions. I saw one in a magazine a few months ago but think I gave the magazine away.
