Muffin Tin Monday

Muffin Tin Monday at Her Cup Overfloweth

It's Muffin Tin Monday!!

I have only been doing this for a few weeks now but my little one has caught on. Whenever he sees the muffin tin come out he knows it is his special lunch. He loves it.

Of course there was one very excited little boy in this house when he came to the table for breakfast. There was no theme this week so I opted to switch up a bit and do Breakfast. I have to keep this little one on his toes.
We have a scrambled egg, banana, pineapple, english muffin with jelly and vanilla yogurt. I did throw a few sprinkles on his yogurt. I wish I had a video camera going because you would have thought it was Christmas morning seeing those sprinkles!

The excitement died down a bit and I heard "Uh Mom you forgot something". I knew what he was going to say so I cringed. I was so hoping I could get away with omitting it but NO my child had to have his ketchup. He quickly moved both bananas to the same muffin cup and told me not to worry because he made room!! I give up. LOL

If you haven't checked Muffin Tin Monday out yet head on over here.

***For those of you who commented last week on the sweet potato fries, yes they are crunchy. I let them sit in cold water for a while before baking them. It takes some of the starch out and they crisp up better.

what a neat idea! I love the picture. If I took a picture of breakfast at my house, let's just say that they would revoke my mom of the year award! LOL!

Breakfast for the muffin tins are wonderful! And how funny about the ketsup and he made room for it! I have one that likes ketsup and one that doesn't on their eggs!

One of my boys is a big ketchup eater, so I can relate with that. Don't you love it though when they are so thrilled with what you give them, like with that added touch of sprinkles. :)

Great Tin! My DD loves ketchup too. the other day after she ran out of nuggets to dip in her ketchup she just used her fingers and licked it off of them. Gross!!!!
The green pea crispies are snap pea crisps that I found in produce section. They are kindof like cheetos only healthy. A great find because she loves them.

Thanks for the sweet potato suggestion! It's amazing what a little "dip" can do for a meal!

That sounds like the neatest idea-Muffin Tin Lunch! I put sprinkles on my boys yogurt, and at 7, and 9, they still love that touch...
Glad to see I am not the only one doing that!
